Truly thankful no lives were taken in Dorian’s passage through our Atlantic Canadian communities. My September 8th book signing at Chapters Dartmouth Micmac Mall was cancelled. It will be rescheduled. We lost our power in Lower Sackville for a stretch. However a drive through Dartmouth and photos of Halifax, and P.E.I. quickly revealed how fortunate we were. Thanks go out to the Nova Scotia Power staff and volunteers from away who have and are working hard to restore power to everyone. One sure does get a great feeling in the heart on seeing all our neighbours throughout our communities stepping up and assisting individuals impacted by the storm. Blessings.
