Taking a Break and Sharing Thoughts

fomenteu-la-lectura-1310803

If you’ve lived it and can still recall bits and pieces of it then I believe one can creatively commit the experience to the written word. Adding random dashes of healthy embellishment simply sharpens the memory and brings it to life in a reader’s mind. Although on occasion I have been wrong and suspect I will be again. Can anyone out there recall those amazing times shared with your spouse, partner, or significant other when one of you was pregnant? I can. Those recollections are energizing my writing at the moment. Someone in my new book is living and sharing the experience mentioned. I survived it as we all do. Just thought I’d share a thought or two. Who is you know what? I won’t say, but if you’ve read my book Seaside Glitter you may think you know. Cheers … Relax and in time we’ll both know who.

Finally Got to Play with our Snow Shovel and Scoop.

DSCN0675

Finally I got to play with my snow shovel and scoop. Although a good neighbour beat me to the punch and treated our driveway and a number of neighbours driveways to a trim up with their snow blower. On top of playing with my snow shovel and scoop, I got to wear the amazing woolen scarf our Amy knitted for Grampa. Top that off with my RedBlacks fur winter blaster hat. Offered to buy my lady a matching hat. She refused. I can’t imagine why?

It’s Daughters Week? Shouldn’t that be A Year Round Celebration?

It’s Daughters Week? Shouldn’t that be A Year Round Celebration? … The first daughter I met was my Mom. Love you and Miss You Mom. Thanks go out to Grandma and Grandpa for sharing with me your Amazing Daughter. Next up my two Sisters, we sure have shared some great times together. Here’s a special one, the lady and a Sister to some who I married a year or two ago, she’s the one in the photo. Thanks go out to my Mother and Father-in Law, thanks and yes your Daughter stole my heart. Time now for the real thing our two Amazing Daughters, I could write a book on the joys they’ve added to my Life, one no two being special joys who are our Amazing Granddaughters. Who did I miss? Thanks go out to my Aunts and Uncles for their Amazing Daughters my cousins that have and continue to enrich my life to this day. If I’ve missed any Daughters … Happy Daughters Week All Year Round. Thank you for the Joy you add to all the lives you touch.

It Felt Great…

Written Letter

I woke up early this morning and I didn’t want to go back to sleep. I got up dressed and made myself a coffee. On arriving at my desk and laptop an urge hit. I did not turn my computer on. I answered the urge and wrote a letter. Yes a hand written letter with a pen in hand. Will not say who will receive it. I will only say it felt great. It’s been way too long since I last wrote a letter with pen in hand. How about you? The feeling exceeds the cost of my stamp. Yes I intend to mail it. Cheers … My coffee is calling out to me. It needs a trip to our microwave.

Writers Pen 2018

Discovered I had failed to activate my new book’s antagonist. Well I’m happy to say the task has been handled. Personally as a writer I will confess you will not like this one. The story needs this one. Otherwise I could easily pen an early demise and not feel bad. However we all have goals in life. I detest their goal. But feel I must allow an effort toward goal achievement to flow freely.

Could Chapter 3 be Revealing Itself to me?

The Pencil in Action

January 3rd and the words are flowing. Chapter three is revealing itself to me. We all seek out positivity in our daily lives. So sad that in fiction and the real world some never experience its touch. Evil is not an asset I would embrace. However I’ve heard a character or two in works of fiction embrace it lovingly. Rather than erase them. I will simply cut them a little slack. Just a thought while my fingers race across my keyboard. Cheers.

2018 is here! Opportunity awaits.

Welcome to 2018. The key to each of our successes awaits. I survived a month on our treadmill and carried the habit forward into 2018. It appears the increased blood flow to the brain has energized my creative writing. Somebody is back home and frustrated at a lack of weight gain. While a special one in my life is frustrated at a lack of weight loss. Trusting all your efforts and actions in 2018 will add reality to your dreams. Cheers.
